Tuesday, June 7- 5pm for a “meet and greet” at the Best Western in Colfax.
Wednesday, June 8- Steptoe Butte – Skyline Drive North of Farmington, round barns
Thursday, June 9- Steptoe Butte, barns, Wagon Wheel Fence
Friday, June 10- Palouse Falls
Saturday, June 11- workshop concludes after morning session
Location:
You are invited to join me to photograph in a truly unique location. The Palouse Country in SE Washington is a photographers dream of rolling agriculture fields, charming old barns and granaries. Plus, the commanding view from Steptoe Butte and the grandeur of Palouse Falls make for an exciting roster of photo spots for us. I used to frequent the area quite often, so I know my way around.
EQUIPMENT SUGGESTIONS:
A sturdy tripod is a necessity for good landscapes. Participants should have a working knowledge of their equipment (know which button does what!) before the workshop. I suggest an SLR camera with a wide-angle lens (17-35mm range) and a medium telephoto lens up to 300-400mm.
