Mount Rainier National Park Autumn Photography Tour and Workshop

Dates: September 28- October 2, 2023

Price: $2600.00 single. ($4200.00 couples/ 2 sharing a room))  Workshop price is for instruction and 4 nights of lodging only. Transportation and meals are students’ responsibility. We will carpool. Limited to 8 students. 

Cancellation Policy:If you cancel and the workshop is otherwise filled, we will refund you the full amount you have paid towards the tuition, minus a $150 service charge. If you cancel and the workshop does not fill, then you will be refunded according to the following schedule, based on the full fee of the Workshop:

• Greater than 90 days from the start date of the Workshop: full refund minus $150 fee.
•  Less than 90 days: no refund
• Refunds will be paid by the same method that the original payment was made.

We highly recommend purchasing “Travel Insurance” at time of registration. Required on any international trip. AAA or Allianz offer policies

Thursday, September 28- Meet and greet at the Paradise Inn. Sunset shoot of the Tatoosh Range

Friday September 29- Explore trails near Paradise. Mrytle Falls, Skyline Trail

Saturday September 30- Sunrise/ Little Tipsoo Lake area

Sunday, October 1– Reflection Lake, Narada Falls

Monday, October 2–  Explore the meadows near Paradise. The workshop concludes after the morning field session. 

Location: Mount Rainier National Park

One of the more stunning National Park locations will keep our cameras humming as huckleberry and other ground bushes turn vibrant red with enormous snow-clad Mount Rainier in the background in this photography workshop tour. There are numerous waterfalls, intimate forest scenes, and small lakes that can yield fantastic reflections. We’ll be based out of the aptly named Paradise Valley.

Expect any kind of weather in autumn. The massive mountain creates its own weather system. Though most of our locations are near the roadway, please note there will be hiking on trails involved to access some of the locations. Expect 2-3 miles with elevation gain. Bring appropriate clothing and footwear (good hiking boots).
