Location:
The dramatic Wasatch Mountain Range just east of Salt Lake City contains some of the grandest autumn colors in the entire U.S. Here, aspens are king and they exhibit much more of a range of vibrant colors than other locals. Deep orange, red and yellow colors will make this photography trip one to remember. I have been waiting to host this special class for a long time, so don’t miss the opportunity to bring home images you will be proud to show off or hang on the wall.
EQUIPMENT SUGGESTIONS: A sturdy tripod is a necessity for good landscapes. Participants should have a working knowledge of their equipment (know which button does what!) before the workshop. I suggest a SLR camera with a wide-angle lens (17-35mm range) and a medium telephoto lens up to 300-400mm. A longer telephoto lens of 400 to 500mm could come in handy to create artistic patterns of vibrant fall color.
